Who is responsible for your information

When you join a loyalty card, the business that issued it (the merchant named on the sign-up form) decides why and how your information is used. Yoyalty provides the platform and processes your information on the merchant's behalf, only to run your loyalty card.

What we collect

The details you enter when you sign up: your name, phone number and/or email address, and optionally your birthday and preferred language, plus any extra fields the merchant asks for.

Your activity on the card: points, stamps, cashback or tier progress, rewards redeemed, purchase amounts the cashier enters, and the date, time and staff member for each entry.

Technical information needed to deliver your card, such as your wallet pass registration and notification subscription.

Why we use it

To create your loyalty card, track your balance, let the cashier credit and redeem rewards, and keep your history accurate.

To send you programme updates and offers from the merchant as wallet and app notifications, for example when you earn points or unlock a reward. You can turn these notifications off at any time in your phone's wallet settings or browser settings.

Who we share it with

The merchant that issued your card can see your details and activity.

Service providers that help deliver the card, such as Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, our hosting and database providers. They may only use your information to provide their service.

We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

For as long as your card is active and the merchant runs the programme, then only as long as needed for legal or accounting reasons. A merchant can delete your record and history at your request.

Your choices and rights

You can ask the merchant to show you the information they hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. If you cannot reach the merchant, contact us and we will pass your request on or act on it where we are able to.

Depending on where you live (for example Canada, the European Union or Morocco), you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
